A website that violates the 6th rule of the article is Hero Forge. There is a large icon in the top left of the screen that doesn't have any function. In other websites it would direct you somewhere, but here it does nothing.

Framing my idea through the format of a story can seriously help me come to an understanding of what, why, and how im am going go about working on this project. I would be able to see a rough idea of how my work is going to progress over the course of time that I spend on it. It can also help me overcome problems and falts within my project.

Emphasis can be easliy established through size, weight, color, stlye, and placement. A large, bold text in the middle of the page is quick to catch the viewers attention. A good example is Spotify's main page. There is a clear large font at the top that shrinks and dims it's color to become less potent as you explore and seek out less important information.

Creative Brief

A problem that I wanted to fix was that some of the most popular character creation sites such as D&D Beyond, while having a lot of very useful features, have a lot of them locked beyond paywalls, meaning that you would have to spend money to have access to them. Anyone who would like to create and save character sheet online without facing any paywalls would benefit from my idea. Obviously, I would have to compete with websites such as D&D Beyond themselves but also with other sites such as Dungeon Master's Vault and Fast Character. I still feel that people should have easy access to an online character creator, and I feel that it wouldn't be that hard for someone to make one for others to use. In the end, I will know it worked if I find people acutally using my site over the other sites.
