Not Burying the Lead & Not Saying too Much- New York Times

I saw this article today and I think it did a good job at not burying the lead. It states at the very beginning what the purpose of the article is. After stating this, it then goes into detail about what happened and how things will change. It doesn't make the reader did to see what the article is about.

It also does a good job at not saying too much. The lead article itself is only a It ends after explaining the main headline and allows for the reader to go and view all related articles underneath it if they want more details. This is also accompanied by a "show more" tab that allows the viewer to see more of the related articles if they wish to contiue reading after the introduction.

Making a Strong Call to Action - Action Against Hunger

Charities should boviously always have a strong call to action. It is the driving force behind motivating people to donate. Action Against Hunger is no exception. They clearly state that they need your help to make an impact and that you are vital to their organization's goals. This is also helped by large "donate now" buttons under almost every paragraph. The reader feels motivated to contribute.
